Being hired as a developer, I was asked during the induction for my preferences as in what field I would like to go. Having done my specialization in Cloud Computing, it was the first thing that came into my mind. I was suggested by my Manager to try DevOps. Back then this term 'DevOps' was alien to me. As I began studying more, it became more and more interesting. I was assigned a Mentor, who made sure that I went through a good understanding and completed the assignments in time. There's so much to learn in Docker, Kubernetes, and other deployment tools. We worked through automated deployments which also included troubleshooting. I feel lucky to be at a place where we work with technologies. Since then every day has been a learning experience, unlocking new values and each day comes with a fair share of challenges to address.

Coming from a background of working in a University creating a Student Management Software where the product development was very random, AbilityEx helped me face all challenges to start from scratch. Taking up new projects here gave me the exposure to implementing new ideas and processes. "Giving attention to details is the key"- A very successful mentor of mine quoted this when things were not going exactly as planned. Giving attention to one area, perfecting it, and then moving on to the next bit is a constant attempt.

To be a part of the team that builds excellent customer stories - is something that I am up for always! Being empathetic and taking a proactive approach to making things easy for the customer helps me build beautiful relationships with them. They love it when we are transparent and to-the-point. Despite any crests and troughs, I love falling back to the basics, sticking to my strengths, and taking each day at a time. If things go by the flow, then fantastic; else, it’s interesting to figure out a way with the customer to identify any shortcomings that come by and work on the next steps for a beautiful journey of partnership ahead. In short, each day is packed with a lot of action, and there is never a dull moment! "

All the incoming applications will undergo a preliminary screening by the recruiter, which may involve connecting with the candidates for information gathering. Shortlisted applications will then be lined up for an interview with the hiring manager.
The first level screening of incoming applications will start from the third day of requirement posting on our website. The other stages in the hiring process will be coordinated in real-time, including sharing status updates with the candidates. We aim to close the complete hiring process within 30 days window.
We have well-defined employee referral guidelines incorporated. We strongly believe in having friends at the workplace and promote referrals extensively. However, some roles are restricted to participate in this program, such as the HR team.

Career progression at AbilityEx can be either vertical in the form of a promotion or horizontal in role enhancement. However, it will be dependent on multiple aspects such as vacancy, your performance, and commitment to the organization.
On average, we take 30 days to close a position. But depending on the role, niche skill, level of hiring, and suitability of incoming applications, the cycle time may go beyond the average TAT.
Depending on the role you apply for, the selection process may involve one to three rounds of interview and/or other form of assessment to gauge expertise on the primary skill.
Our onboarding process involves classroom-based induction on day-1, followed by 1-2 weeks of handholding to get you assimilated into your team and organization at large.
We have an eight-hour work window excluding one hour of break in a six-day working week.
